In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, CTO always recommend all business-critical hardware purchased is covered by the extended support services from the vendor, for example Dell ProSupport, to allow speedy resolution of hardware faults and advanced replacement, if required.
As such, CTO protect your key devices such as servers and networking devices (not endpoints) and commit to the following: –
- When devices fail, CTO will handle the resolution with the manufacturer and any site visits or technical time spent is covered under our support service.
- CTO always recommend key equipment is covered by manufacturer’s warranty. Where devices are not covered, CTO will handle the resolution, but any costs incurred are covered by you the customer. Again, any site visits or technical time spent is covered under our support service.
- Where relevant, CTO will provide suitable loan equipment to aid business continuity throughout a fault.
CTO only recommends best-of-breed hardware from brands such as Dell, HP, Fortinet and Cisco which we have been tested for performance and reliability.
