Starting January 2022, Microsoft will bring seat-based cloud offers to New Commerce Experience (NCE) for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Windows 365. We wanted you and your team to be aware of this new update so you can transact better.
What is NCE – the New Commerce Experience?
NCE intends to reduce complexity and provide cost savings for long term commitments. All whilst introducing additional features to make Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) a comparable alternative to the longstanding Enterprise Agreement (EA).
- What does it mean to your business?
Microsoft is designing the NCE to simplify and streamline how customers can buy from Microsoft. Microsoft wants to offer you more options for tailoring your purchases to meet your business needs. - How will it impact you?
Starting January 2022, Microsoft will bring seat-based cloud offers to New Commerce Experience (NCE) for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Windows 365. - What’s next?
By March 2022, New orders must be transacted through NCE ONLY. All O365 and M365 SKUs with a month-to-month term will increase by 20%, in addition to Microsoft’s price changes on select O365 and M365. Microsoft are offering a 5% discount for annual Microsoft 365 commitments. The annual discount will be available until the end of March 2022. Committing to your licences before the end of March 2022 will not only allow you to benefit from the discount, but also avoid the price increase. - What’s upcoming?
By February 2023, all remaining subscriptions on the previous experience must be moved to new commerce because they cannot be renewed on the previous CSP experience.
If you would any more information on NCE please get in touch.
Many thanks,
